One of my friends and my former Art Director had this phrase as his screensaver in small white type on a black screen in our open format design studio. It stuck in my brain and is quite meaningful to me. You are only as good as those around you on any visual communication project. The Clients, the Directors, the Junior Designers ... One should never settle for "Done is better than perfect" ... "Quantity over quality." I truly believe great design deserves the right process. "Show me something I like." means trusting your Director that they know what they're doing, educating the Client if necessary and of course listening to them carefully.

My education at the California College of Arts and Crafts, now CCA, from '95–'99 in San Francisco took me places I didn't dream possible. To this day I can attribute much of my success to the amazing instruction and mentoring I received. 25 years of experience working consistently, with much variety, has now allowed me the freedom of choice and the ability to show businesses that need design help “Something They Like!” Enjoy the sampled work here and please contact me if you want to go on a project adventure together!
